Vienna is doing what Vienna does in November and December (and sometimes in January and February). I like it. I find the mistiness soft and gentle, but, as you can see, it can go on for days at a time without a change. This explains why the Vienneselike to go to the mountains. Anyway, typical.

This is the weather we’re having, too, and it has gone on for weeks! I hate it! Give me sun and -10 any day!
That’s not supposed to happen in California, is it? Or is that just a stereotype? Here, as you know, it can have an appealing softness, too. But I still remember walking out the front door years and being struck by sun and realizing that I hadn’t seen it in about three weeks.

Our weather now is called “Tule fog”, and is typical for the California Central Valley in winter, but this has been going on for weeks without end, which is not normal. I miss the sun!
