Presidential election

According to projections, the incumbent, Alexander van der Bellen, has gotten an absolute majority — and that in a field with seven candidates. I guess I’m not the only one who thinks he’s doing a good job.

    I think this is good news. Is he SPD or Greens or what? And this is for President, not Chancellor, right?

      He was head of the Green Party but is now an Independent. And, yes, it’s for President. He’s been doing a good job as far as I can see and certainly is saying the right things (unity, solidarity, democracy).
