   Are Viennese kids now doing trick or treating? I’m just amazed that this American custom seems to have spread around the world now!

     There is some trick or treating, not welcomed by all (“Wir haben eh schon Fasching. Wozu brauchen wir noch Halloween?”) I get the impression that it’s more about Halloween parties. And university students definitely dress up and go out.
